We are seeking a full-time Family Physician to provide full range of outpatient comprehensive medical care for our site located in Lawrence, County, PA. Assists in the OR by serving as first or second assistant during surgical procedures. (20%)

Educates patients and family members regarding health and illness prevention, medication and treatment instructions, and recommends community resources as needed. (10%)

Minimum

UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. This is a valuable opportunity to work in a high-acuity regional referral center delivering advanced, team-based care to critically ill patients in northwest Pennsylvania. Our vision is to create a world-class regional center of excellence for the care of critically ill patients at UPMC Hamot.
Join a multidisciplinary team, including highly trained Advanced Practice Providers to support the service line.
64-bed critical care tower equipped with advanced technology and designed for optimal patient monitoring and staff efficiency.
Availability of point of care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, easy access to prone positioning. Ability to initiate ECMO followed by transfer to quaternary center.
Modern radiology suite with 3T MRI and patient-centered layout.
Opportunity to teach emergency medicine and neurology residents
All ICUs are Beacon Units (Silver and gold)
Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school
Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
