More about the role:
The BCBA role is a hybrid position both remote with monthly travel requirements (one week per month), allowing schedule flexibility and encouraging healthy work life balance momentum.
All BCBAs are required to be within driving distance to one or more of our locations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs that reflect behavioral and other outcomes and objectives identified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
Ensure the implementation of treatment plans, document contacts and observations and use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements.
Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with agreed contracted requirements and satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations. Working with pride and support to exceed professional standards.
Seek creative options for ensuring the continuity and consistency of treatment and support services across settings for the lifespan of the client. Develop strategies for the stability of quality services when clients experience transitions.
Act as supervisor and mentor to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavioral Technicians.
Conduct assessments with the client and/or client's parents/guardian.
Conduct parent training/meetings on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Participate in coordination of care of clients as appropriate.
Remote working conditions:
Personal laptop/desktop computer for work purposes only. Such devices should have up-to-date anti-virus software and firewalls and be self purchased and maintained.
Work as per HIPAA compliance to safeguard patient's information.
Have a reliable Internet connection.
Qualifications and Skills
Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA) essential and certification requirements.
Ability to become actively licensed as an LBA in the state of Virginia essential.
1 year of experience in applied behavior analysis and autism intervention is desirable.
Willingness to travel to the local area, minimum once a month for in-person for required supervision and family meetings essential.
Experience providing remote clinical assessments, clinical supervision and parent training desirable.
Familiarity with providing in-home services, knowledge of child development, and experience working with a diverse clientele desirable.
Excellent team working skills and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
Ability to self-monitor, self-correct and be excellent at time management skills is essential.

* Utilize a range of skills assessments including Vineland-3, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, SSIS, and more to identify learner strengths and areas for growth
* Collect, interpret, and apply behavioral data to guide interventions, monitor progress, and inform team decision
* Ensure fidelity of implementation through consistent data review and adjustment of programming
* Coach and model evidence-based behavioral strategies for teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff
* Provide ongoing supervision and support to mid-level clinicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians in school settings
* Collaborate closely with special education teams, administrators, and families to promote generalization and long-term success
* Deliver impactful professional development sessions, school-wide workshops, and classroom-based training
* Support the growth of aspiring BCBAs through mentorship, supervision, and guidance toward independent practice (in applicable regions)
* Serve as a key consultant to IEP teams, helping to shape effective, student-centered behavioral programming

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour At Community Autism Services, we are looking for compassionate and dedicated Behavior Support Specialists to join our Saugus team. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting children in reaching their social, emotional, and behavioral goals across home, school, and community settings. Qualifications
* High school diploma or higher; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
* Experience in childcare, special education, or behavioral support strongly preferred
* Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 5-10 miles (30-45 minutes)
* Open to both school- and home-based cases to build a full-time schedule
* CPR/First Aid certification preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, empathy, and genuine passion for working with children
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct behavioral support to children in home, school, and community environments
* Implement individualized behavior support and skill-building plans under clinical supervision.
* Promote safe, positive, and inclusive environments for children
* Support children with daily routines, including personal care as needed (e.g., diapering, toilet training)
* Track and document progress, behavior data, and session notes accurately
* Collaborate with clinical supervisors, educators, and family members to ensure consistency and progress
