Location/Division Specific Information: The Cincinnati, OH site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within the Pharma Services Group (PSG). How Will You Make an Impact? The Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician is responsible for ensuring that the packaging department has all materials and commodities needed to produce the required batches scheduled daily. You will be responsible for staging materials and commodities for packaging and for moving finished product into and out of airlocks and through warehouse areas. You will also be a part of maintaining inventory accuracy and performing systematic transactions so that the packaging of future batches can be planned accurately. A Day in the Life: * Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to transfer batches and their associated materials/commodities from the staging areas to the packaging area and from the packaging area to the proper storage locations upon completion * Perform systematic material transactions within the company Enterprise Resource Planning system to maintain inventory accuracy and support accurate planning * Ensure safety is maintained by operating equipment as trained and by keeping the packaging and warehouse areas free of unused or unneeded materials * Ensure quality is maintained by keeping accurate records and issuing the correct product and commodities to the packaging area * Ensure productivity is maintained by always having packaging materials ready to reduce time lost due to material readiness Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: * Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field * Warehouse/Operations Lead or equivalent experience in a similar role * Experience with powered industrial trucks * Experience in a CGMP Environment Preferred * Certified forklift operator Preferred Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
