Key Responsibilities Ensure all engineering work meets established technical standards and adheres to best practices. Develop detailed design criteria, select appropriate materials, and specify equipment in line with engineering standards. Prepare and manage accurate estimates, construction drawings, specifications, and resource plans. Conduct and review detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirements. Lead, supervise, and check the work of team members including engineers, designers, drafters, and technicians. Coordinate effectively with other departments such as purchasing, estimating, and project management. Manage project schedules, budgets, and personnel to deliver work on time and within scope. Act as Engineer of Record for structural engineering projects. Support business development by marketing services to current and potential clients, contributing to proposals, and maintaining updated professional profiles. Promote and follow company safety and quality standards. Serve as the lead structural engineer on multi-disciplinary projects. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Note: Candidates who have passed the PE registration exam may be exempt from the degree requirement. Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required. Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of relevant structural engineering experience. Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale engineering projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a computer.
