**District Overview**
**TIC Power (TICP)** provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. TIC Power builds major EPC and bid-build natural gas power plants, solar fields and energy storage systems throughout North America. All of Kiewit Power is committed to Kiewit's "Nobody Gets Hurt" Philosophy.
**Location**
Although headquartered in Kansas City, our TIC Power district have projects that span across the entire US. Our projects may be built in large cities, small towns, or very remote locations, so our people must be willing to go where the work is. Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date. Field engineers may do rotations between the field and office work. Candidate must be open to traveling and relocating as business requires.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work with a vibrant and diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical and heavy industrial construction.
+ Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor; review proposals, specifications and drawings, perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend pre-bid investigation meetings.
+ Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
+ Prepare work plans, assure quality control, manage and track costs and materials, schedule equipment, administer safety programs and maintain exceptional owner relations.
+ Relocate as required.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
+ Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements
+ Broad knowledge and ability to understand project scheduling and cost control as well as to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
+ Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
+ Familiarity with SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log and/or Primavera "P6" is a plus
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
+ Strong work ethic - highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right

Position Description:
The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for all on-site project administration and for management of the office engineers and jobsite administrator. The PE has direct responsibility for project financials, planning and scheduling, for supervision of personnel and for completion of tasks required to fulfill the project's goals. This position requires an extraordinary level of attention to detail as well as the proficient use of project management tools and software. A project engineer works with stakeholders at all levels and will be required to negotiate with owners, suppliers and trade partners in resolving disputes and managing changes.
Position Qualifications:
* A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.
* Minimum of 2-4 years' experience on large commercial construction projects
* Valid Driver's License.
* Strong communication skills.
* Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

* Past internships in the construction industry.
Essential Duties:
* Assist the project manager and superintendents as follows:
* Accumulate all necessary data and prepare the monthly owner pay applications.
* Discover and resolve interface conflicts between the company and trade partners, as well as among trade partners.
* Assist the company's field supervisors on interpretation of drawings, specifications, RFIs and questions for and from the architect/engineer.
* Develop/manage the cost control and labor recap in conjunction with the project manager and project superintendent.
* Process and estimate all potential change orders and requests for information.
* Assist in development and management of the project schedule.
* Assist with engineering details and special design.
* Track and report on the progress of the project.
* Assist with production analysis studies.
* Manage the timely acquisition of materials and equipment and field-initiated purchasing.
* Run weekly owner/architect/contractor meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
* Assist in monthly margin analysis.
* Update and maintain the project record utilizing the Book of 14.
* Participate in jobsite safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc.
* Facilitate the quality control plan and participate in preparatory meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections, etc.
* Assist in interpretation of the BIM and VDC specifications.
* Manage, train and mentor the office engineers and the jobsite administrator.

**District Overview**
**TIC Power (TICP)** provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. TIC Power builds major EPC and bid-build natural gas power plants, solar fields and energy storage systems throughout North America. **Location**
Although headquartered in Kansas City, our TIC Power district have projects that span across the entire US. Our projects may be built in large cities, small towns, or very remote locations, so our people must be willing to go where the work is. Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date. Field engineers may do rotations between the field and office work. Candidate must be open to traveling and relocating as business requires.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work with a vibrant and diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical and heavy industrial construction.
+ Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor; review proposals, specifications and drawings, perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend pre-bid investigation meetings.
+ Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
+ Prepare work plans, assure quality control, manage and track costs and materials, schedule equipment, administer safety programs and maintain exceptional owner relations.
+ Relocate as required.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
+ Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements
+ Broad knowledge and ability to understand project scheduling and cost control as well as to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
+ Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
+ Familiarity with SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log and/or Primavera "P6" is a plus
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
+ Strong work ethic - highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
+ Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
