Responsibilities
The operator is responsible for safety, workmanship, product quality and productivity in the performance of the job.
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment, to like new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

We are seeking a CNC Programmer with strong Machinist skills and the ability to utilize Mastercam.
The ideal candidate has 10 years' experience in the industry, with at least 5 doing setup and 5 doing programming.
We work with Haas and CMS machines and with Haas and Fanuc controls.
Write programs in Mastercam for complete parts including fixture, jigs, tools, and work-aids for any setups required.
Ability to operate all machines with minimal direction
Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously
Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine or with CAM programming
Experience and familiarity with 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
Review all engineering, work instructions and affiliated tooling for clarity and quality
Work well with CNC team members
Experience with set up and precision hand tools

CNC Plasma Table Programmer
Location: Equipment & Assembly Plant Pittsburgh, PA

The CNC Plasma Table Programmer will create programs for the CNC Plasma table, plate roll and press brake machines utilizing part nesting software. The CNC Plasma Table Programmer will create files and daily nesting plans for the CNC plasma table. The CNC Plasma Table Programmer ensures all materials are routed properly and that enough nested jobs are prepared to keep machines running.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
Monitor and maintain inventory of drop materials to maximize utilization of materials to include reducing scrap generated during processing
Cycle count plate inventory and maximize utilization through nesting, ensuring strategic consumption of raw materials. Compare on hand material to SAP counts
Reads and interprets manufacturer drawings and creates CNC files for plasma cutting tables, plate rolls and brake press to produce parts for fabrication
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
0-2 years 1 year of experience drafting or CNC programming is required
0-2 years 1 year of experience with AUTOCAD 2D is required
0-2 years 1 year of experience with SAP is required
0-2 years 1 year of experience with .DXF, .DWG and various print file types is required
0-2 years 1 year of experience building spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel is required
Auto CAD CAM Software is preferred

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and adaptable High-Precision Machinist to join our fast-paced Rapid Prototyping Cell. This role is critical for the rapid development and iteration of complex, high-tolerance components, primarily supporting the Aerospace, Defense, and Semiconductor industries . The ideal candidate thrives in an environment of changing priorities, possesses deep expertise in multi-axis machining, and maintains a relentless focus on quality and safety. This position requires a strong collaborative spirit to bridge the gap between initial design and scalable production.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Machining: Independently program, set up, and operate a range of machining equipment to produce intricate parts with extremely tight tolerances, often involving exotic materials.
Multi-Axis Operation: Expertly operate and maintain 5-axis+ milling and turning machining centers to produce complex geometries.
Rapid Prototyping: Execute quick-turn jobs on both advanced CNC equipment and conventional milling, turning, and grinding tools, to support urgent R&D, Product Development and Engineering needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary subject matter expert in machining for the prototyping phase, effectively communicating with Process Engineering, Project Managers, Quality Control (QC), and R&D teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability are achieved.
Scalability Recommendations: Analyze prototype processes and recommend improvements or adjustments to machining strategies to ensure the final component design is scalable and cost-effective for high-volume production.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools to verify compliance with stringent aerospace, defense, and semiconductor quality standards.
Adaptability & Time Management: Demonstrate exceptional time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple concurrent projects and quickly pivot to accommodate urgent, shifting priorities.
