WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Analyst II, Facilities Maintenance, reports directly to the Vice President of Facility Management and provides secondary support to the Vehicle Maintenance department as needed to ensure alignment across both operational areas. This position is responsible for administering to the maintenance department via Oracle budget and procurement support, project management assistance, 3rd party property management liaison, contract renewal support, and other assigned facility maintenance related duties. Three (3) years progressively responsible experience in administrative office management, asset management experience, as well as financial system experience required. Primary Responsibility: Perform routine and complex Forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the warehouse. Provide maintenance support as necessary to ensure operational objectives are met. Perform troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment and other powered industrial equipment as assigned. Provide outside service provider oversight and monitoring. What You'll Do: Performs in depth troubleshooting and preventative maintenance/repair of Forklift and MHE electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Rebuilds and/or replaces major components (i.e mast, undercarriage, transmissions, engines/motors, etc.). Inspects forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and operational standards. Maintains batteries and chargers in working order in accordance with OSHA Standards. Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and any other testing instruments. Conducts tests of safety equipment to ensure OHSA and operational standards. Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records within the CMMS system. Keeps work area and tools 6S'd (well maintained, clean, organized, etc.), and performs housekeeping duties as required. Shares knowledge, train and develop less experienced technicians. What Experience and Education You Need: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2+ years of Forklift Maintenance Experience OR 4+ years of other mechanic experience in lieu of specialized Forklift experience (i.e. auto, diesel, truck/trailer mechanic experience) Required to successfully complete assigned technical training and/or mechanical-electrical courses.
