WORK ENVIRONMENT In-Person - Apartment Housing Community
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, including repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues as needed.
Ensure property grounds and facilities are kept clean, safe, and in good condition.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report major issues to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with HVAC and make-ready skills.
Ability to diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable transportation and basic tools required.
Professional appearance and adherence to dress code:
Work pants/jeans (no rips or tears)
Solid-colored or company-provided work shirt
Closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes or steel-toe boots
Safety gear (gloves, goggles, etc.) when required

Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

What you'll do as a Warehouse Maintenance I:
Ensure that spare parts usage, inventory and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy.
Assist with DC maintenance requirements such as (but not limited to) refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.
Maximize availability of all classes of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation.
Perform inspections and cleaning; do specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.
Develop a working knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
At least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. Service Technician II position includes the following responsibilities: service, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and general repairs of MQ's construction equipment. Employee is able to complete most duties and responsibilities with minor or no "how-to" instructions or supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment according to Multiquip's established guidelines and service/maintenance schedules.
* Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose standard construction equipment. Identify and order appropriate/required items to complete repairs and maintenance.
* Ability to track and manage employee's specific inventory during inspection and repair processes.
* Knowledge to perform standard repairs on construction equipment and related supporting accessories; replace supporting accessories when required. Complete understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams is required.
* Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts; including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
* Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments.

* This position will work with other service technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. Technicians ability to assist senior level technicians as needed is required.
* Cuts, route, comb, twist, tie wrap, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering gun and hand tools and is able to connect wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches, solenoids, etc.
* Request equipment and or supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of the items required to complete necessary jobs.
* Prepares and completes service reports in a precise and timely manner as required.
* Participates in meetings and trainings as assigned for the purpose of conveying or gathering information required to perform job functions.
* Performs all work in accordance with Multiquip's established quality standards along with all safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe working environment.

PAY RATE: $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
SHIFT: Hours will be discussed with the manager.
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician will perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical systems, facility structures, and grounds under close supervision. Duties include inspecting refrigeration systems, operating power tools and welding equipment, and using motorized lifts as needed. Experience in refrigeration maintenance and forklift mechanics is required.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TASKS:
Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
Perform basic inspections of refrigeration system under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
Operate power tools, cutting torch, and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts.
