Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts and proper lubrication

Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and components
Lead the rebuild and retrofit of commercial HVAC equipment. Direct technician Levels I and II through hands-on demonstration of the necessary steps and introduce centrifugal rebuilds.
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets

About this Role
We're hiring an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician to be a core part of our field service team. General Description:
Tolin Mechanical is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial & Industrial HVAC Service Technician to join our installation department. This role is responsible for installing, starting up, and servicing a wide variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment installation, HVAC piping systems, troubleshooting, and warranty service. Experience with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, start up, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including but not limited to rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Install and connect HVAC piping systems, including refrigerant piping, hydronic piping, and associated components.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC equipment and controls, with a focus on resolving warranty-related issues.
Conduct equipment start-up, testing, and balancing to ensure systems meet design specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job submittals to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely and quality project completion.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for completed work.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
Provide excellent customer service through professionalism, communication, and quality workmanship.
Compensation & Benefits:
Average Starting Rate for a Service Technician: $43.00 - $46.00 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
