Summary:
The Med Surg Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Essential Work Functions:
Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and monitor patient responses
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures
Document comprehensive patient information, including vital signs, medications, treatments, and care outcomes, in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers, to create and implement individualized care plans
Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritizing care based on acuity and clinical needs
Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed, including hand hygiene and PPE use
Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring they are respected and integrated into the care plan
Facilitate discharge planning, coordinating with patients, families, and external resources to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills:

Responsibilities
Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Be the vehicle expert. Know the in's & the out's of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Opportunity:
RN - CCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio in critical care unit
• 2+ years ICU experience required, prior critical access/rural experience highly preferred
• Float to alike units within skillset and other locations within 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River)
• Floating can be pre-scheduled as needed
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour call back minimum
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• EPIC charting system used (no prior charting experience required)
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Occasional pediatric surgical patients (may include ENT or orthopedic cases)
• Must comply with facility vaccination policy - unvaccinated staff required to wear masks at all times during flu season
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Clinical interview required through MSP
• 13-week contract length with ASAP start date
