Key Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and upgrades on large-scale vertical lifting, tip-up, bi-fold, and rolling industrial doors.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot components and recommend solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring safety and satisfaction.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working order.
Partner with customers to deliver professional service and support.
Support departmental objectives and contribute to broader organizational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications a plus.
5+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and construction documents.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation :
Follow established safety practices including proper lifting and LOTO where applicable.

When approached by a guest with a problem, Team member will have the knowledge to be empowered to assist the guest in resolving the problem.
Keep a daily maintenance log of all work performed on all areas of the resort/motel.

Responsibilities
Maintains all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Manages spare parts inventories in a cost effective manner.
Minimizes unscheduled equipment downtime.
Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment, water levels, water systems and other equipment and systems.
Troubleshoots electrical issues.

Performing all the duties of a Maintenance Technician in keeping production and auxiliary equipment operational and processes going
Troubleshoot difficult equipment issues using blueprints, equipment manuals and internet resources while utilizing an advanced skill set in most of the following areas: pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical.
Participating in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position.
Follow all plant safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required per procedures

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Skilled Technician.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Ability to work on CNC machining centers and supporting equipment
Excellent math skills and complex blueprint reading, drawings, notes, and computer skills
Qualified in the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLC, machinery, welding, and electrical

Purpose of Job
The purpose of this job is to perform mechanical/specialty work functions associated with the operation and maintenance of water reclamation systems, maintenance and repair of water treatment plant systems, electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining records, repairing, maintaining and operating pumps, wells and motors; performing preventive maintenance and manual work activities; performing carpentry, welding, plumbing and concrete finishing tasks; and performing additional tasks as assigned.
