The Director, Property Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting Middle Market field surveys and providing comprehensive service support. This role includes both on-site physical surveys and virtual/phone assessments, focusing on detailed evaluations of operations, exposures, and control adequacy. Responsibilities: * Conduct both on-site and virtual/phone assessments of prospects and clients. * Perform detailed property evaluations and summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate recommendations for loss improvement. * Assess sprinkler system adequacy and calculate Normal Loss Expectancies and Probable Maximum Loss Expectancies. * Evaluate Nat Cat exposures (flood, windstorm, hail, wildfire, etc.). * Provide support to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers. Required Skills: * Extensive experience with conducting HPR (Highly Protected Risk) Property surveys. * Competency with NFPA and FM data sheets. * Experience in analyzing loss data and evaluating sprinkler system adequacy. * Proficiency with Microsoft suite tools and applications. * Strong analytical and time management skills. * Effective communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
