Perform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by Superintendent and/or Tower Crew Lead.

Perform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.

Install, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems.

The TowerTechnician works with cell phone towers to provide wireless communications services. A TowerTechnician may assist in setting support infrastructure to build towers from the ground up. They also conduct routine maintenance while also installing more delicate equipment antennas, lighting at the top of the towers which requires additional education, experience, and training. When at the telecom job sites, the focus is always on efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a TowerTechnician the duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Participate in pre-project meetings and complete all required paperwork
Assess safety hazards and ensure all work is performed following all safety rules and regulations
Effectively work with and support fellow crew members crew members
Successful completion of all scope of work assigned according to construction requirements and quality standards, and within the time frame allotted
Provide troubleshooting and support for integration tasks
Perform administrative tasks as required including timesheet submittals, daily reports, expense reports, materials list, etc.
Participate in punch-walks and submit close out package information
Take responsibility and care for all company equipment, vehicles, and tools
Investigate and report all accidents/incidents to management and safety department; suggest and implement corrective actions

Travel is required and must be able to be out of town during the week and periodic weekends. When staying out of town company pays for hotel and overnight per diem is paid weekly. Travel is in IL, WI and IN.
Candidates should have 1+ years of telecom or climbing experience. Once selected for hire each individual will receive an in-house, paid training course to obtain the necessary certifications and skills to perform the work required by the job. The company provides all necessary equipment for training. Travel expenses are covered, and you will receive a per diem.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble and erect cell towers.
Use hand and power tools to install and position equipment and materials efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues.
Gather of closeout information (photos, antenna height verification, etc.)
Other aspects of general construction such as light civil work, working with steel and other various labor intensive tasks.
Work as a team to function as part of a 3-4-man crew.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially while working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Key Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Minimum 1+ year of experience as a TowerTechnician or successful completion of a TowerTechnician program.
Can pass a background check and drug test
Willingness to travel extensively, including out-of-state trips.
Willing to work outdoors year-round
Strong knowledge of rigging, connector installation, and coaxial and fiber routing.
Physical capability to climb up to 1,000 vertical feet daily.
Ability to perform tower rescues as needed.
