Provide electrical engineer design solutions, calculations, design documents, specifications, and project communications. Provide follow-through for designs: construction correspondence, observation, punch listing and close out. Participate, where requested, in client meetings. Coordinate your work with all disciplines and consultants. Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor proposed change orders. Adhere to project budgeted time and schedule. Collaborate with the team to share experiences, knowledge, skills, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Mentor and train entry-level designers across multiple offices. Assist with electrical specifications. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in an Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering accredited program. 15 plus years of industry experience. Strong understanding of commercial building electrical systems. Experience with an A/E or MEP consulting firm is preferred. Knowledge and experience in Revit software, lighting calculation software and proficiency in spreadsheet is preferred. Act with integrity and trust. Possess a commitment to excellence. Work in a collaborative team environment. Work independently. Problem solving through root cause analysis and finding alternative solutions. Understand and effectively apply technical skills to the project. Clearly express ideas and thoughts both verbally and in written form.
