Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before the completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Install power supply and control wiring for newly installed machines and equipment, such as conveyor systems. Install wiring and electrical components in specific electrical panels. Requirements: Associate or technical school degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures in operational equipment and perform preventative or corrective maintenance.
