What you'll do
In this role, you will:
Convert warm leads from web inquiries, past travelers, referrals, and partner channels into booked trips (FIT, private departures, and scheduled group departures).
Own the full sales conversation: discovery, itinerary guidance, objection handling, closing, and post-booking care.
Build long-term relationships with sophisticated, repeat travelers and turn them into raving “I'm coming back with my friends” guests.
Collaborate with our trip designers in Europe to customize private groups and bespoke itineraries.
Partner with marketing: share what guests are asking for, influence messaging, and identify high-potential themes and departures.
Represent Ciclismo Classico at select rides, events, and guest evenings in key markets (Boston area and beyond; some evenings/weekends).
Use our CRM (HubSpot) to manage pipeline, follow-ups, and conversion performance.
What success looks like in your first 6-12 months
You consistently hit and exceed monthly booking and revenue targets.
You've built a personal “book of guests” who request you by name.
You're feeding product/itinerary feedback straight from the traveler into the business.
What you bring
You're a great fit if you have:
5-10 years of consultative phone / interactive sales experience (ideally travel, luxury experiences, adventure, or high-end consumer services).
Proven track record meeting or exceeding revenue or conversion targets.
Strong written and verbal communication; you're confident guiding discerning travelers.
Working knowledge of Europe (Italy strongly preferred: culture, regions, food, terrain).
Ability to juggle details for multiple clients without dropping service quality.
Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot or similar), and online booking / operations platforms.
Nice to have:
You speak Italian, French, or Spanish.
You've sold or led active / cycling / adventure travel.

The national average salary range for this role is $40K-80K in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. Job Description
Responsible for understanding the basic tenets of Rooms Merchandising and integrating that knowledge with Selective Selling Techniques to sell the right rooms to the right customers at the right rate. Assist guests with the Reservation process. Maximize potential revenue by following specified selling guidelines. Assist the Revenue Manager in daily duties including answering phones, filing, and computer work. Assist the Business Travel Sales Manager with reservation and administrative responsibilities.
Rate per hour starts at $30.83 and increases to $31.33 after 90 days.
Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely reservations data entry.
* Maximize potential room revenue by following specified selling guidelines.
* File 3rd party reservations and back-up any corporate account & sales reservation inquiries
* Post advance deposits on all prepaid reservations.
* Process 800 number reservations with use of Daily Reservations Report
* Process and research travel agency commissions
* Monitor duplicate booking reservations and remove from system
* Monitor FIT mailbox & 3rd party channels via extranet
* Create and maintain transient room block to ensure all reservations have correct billing, and all necessary information
* Take reservation calls from customers and OmniRez agents requesting on property assistance or any other calls pertaining to guestroom reservations
* Detail package reservations with appropriate notes and maintain Dynamic packages and MyUpgrades
* Respond to guest calls in a timely manner.
* Work cooperatively with front office, accounting, loyalty and other hotel departments to ensure accurate reservation details.
* Main Contact for day-to-day reservation related needs of our Business Travel accounts including reservations requests, VIP's, amenities, and general traveler needs.
* Review daily reservation reports and proactivelytake action to ensure a positive pre-arrival experience
* Business Travel account administrative support including managing the account list, preparing rate agreements, and auditing negotiated rates.
* Proactively monitor and report inventory concerns.
