Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO is responsible for ensuring the financial strength, integrity, and long-term sustainability of the hospital while supporting high-quality patient care. The CFO oversees all financial and revenue cycle functions, including accounting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, audits, materials management, centralized registration, and authorizations. This role works closely with the CEO and Executive Team, Board of Directors, department leaders, and external partners to provide timely financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards (GASB/GAAP). Key responsibilities include developing and managing the annual budget, preparing financial statements and audits, overseeing Medicare and Medicaid reporting, managing investments and cash flow, supervising 10-15 staff, and contributing to long-range strategic and financial planning. The CFO also plays a critical role in evaluating new services, grant opportunities, and other funding sources to support organizational growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate has healthcare finance experience, strong leadership and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county.
