Operates the HMC switchboard to extend and handle incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls by using a computerized database. Answers and alerts staff of emergency codes and alarms. Maintains the smooth flow of communication traffic and effective communications and alarm responses. Provides answering service for HMC practices. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Immediately responds to and follows department/HMC procedures for all codes and alarms. 2. Answers, transfers, and directs incoming calls using a computerized database for information access. 3. The Center for Elders' Independence is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly) organization that uses an interdisciplinary team approach to care planning and care implementation for the purpose of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly, including an Adult Day Health Center, and promoting autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals to live in their communities. The Position: Under the supervision of the Dispatch Supervisor, the Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the dispatch of all CEI transportation services to program participants. Utilizing the routing and scheduling software; manages alert screen logs, reviews past, current, and future trips, on-time performance, vehicle availability, cancels trips as needed, and confirms end of day route duties are complete. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage alert screen to log and review trips and drivers performance. Document and report any unusual incidents with drivers and/or participants. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the precast yard. This role involves managing the flow of materials, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. WHY WORK FOR US? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule and dispatch precast products and materials to ensure timely delivery to job sites Act as a liaison between production, delivery teams, and customers to ensure clear communication regarding orders and schedules Monitor and manage inventory levels of precast materials and products, ensuring adequate supply for ongoing projects Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies Address any issues that arise during the dispatch process, including delays, damaged products, or scheduling conflicts Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels using company software Manage inventory Document shipping loads This role will spend approximately 70 percent out in the yard and 30 percent in the office. EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or construction preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in computer applications, including inventory management and dispatch software Knowledge of precast concrete products and construction processes is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Regularly required to stand, twist, and walk; use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds This position requires constant medium to heavy manual labor Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe boots (must be laced and over the ankle), hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection WORKING CONDITIONS Work environment is both indoor and outdoor, with exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust The noise level in the work environment is usually loud This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance. We are looking to hire motivated individuals to provide our clients with excellent service while transporting them to a variety of destinations. Dispatch is our main contact for all incoming calls. These individuals have excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Answering calls from hospitals and other facilities regarding ALS and BLS ambulatory transit. Accurately document all necessary information into Traumasoft. Constantly monitoring schedules and ensure a smooth transition from day to night shift. Maintains and updates ETAs; keeping lost and/or late runs to a minimum. Consistent interaction with crew members. Works with Supervisor and Operations Manager to address any attendance issues. Assist crew members with tablet issues and any questions that they may have about facilities. Distribute daily end-of-shift report to management. 12-hour shifts including weekends, and holidays. Daytime training until credentialed. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess a valid Florida Driver License Must be able to pass Drug Screening EMD Certified (Not required but a plus.)
