Trystar's team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Supply Planning Manager based at our Burnsville, MN office. The Supply Planning Manager plays a critical role in our enterprise-wide supply chain operations by providing leadership over our supply and production planning processes associated with our SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) business process. The role will work closely with production leaders, plant scheduling, supply chain teams, sales, finance and other stakeholders to align production and supply plans with business objectives. In this role you will get to: Develop KPIs and targets for the team leveraging SIOP reports and suggested metrics. Analyze and report on key S&OE and SIOP metrics to inform decision-making and maintain operational control and stability. Develop dynamic lead time planning tools that allow for the ability to continuously recalculate delivery estimates, identify delays early, and adjust schedules based on real-time constraints and inputs in the ETO value stream. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and optimize master data across planning systems (EPICOR, Monday.com, etc.) with responsibility for the quality of this master data. Collaborate with plant managers and manufacturing engineering regularly to maintain alignment on enterprise supply planning. Evaluate production capacity, supplier lead times, and constraints to align resources with growth requirements. Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans, aligning with sales inventory and operations planning (SIOP) cycles. Monitor demand changes, new product introductions, and customer orders to adjust supply plans proactively. Assist in optimization of production scheduling processes and tools to enable the planning community to maximize asset optimization and minimize costs. Provide visibility to sales, finance, and leadership on supply risks, recovery plans, and capacity constraints. Develop approaches to efficiently conduct "what-if" scenario modeling to propose solutions for varying supply and demand conditions. Ensure tools and systems result in adherence to inventory targets and oversee refresh of stock calculations regularly. Drive continuous improvement in all planning processes, tools, and models. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to supply chain planning and implement relevant improvements as necessary. Development and implementation of production planning strategies, policies, and procedures. Drive continuous improvement in all planning processes, tools, and models. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management and/or planning working in a mature S&OP/IBP process or hands on experience building and improving an existing process. Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning software (Epicor experience preferred but not required) Expert or Advanced supply chain analytical skills Expert or Advanced Excel skills and other relevant reporting tools such as Power BI or an equivalent. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus. Ability to work strategically and operationally, with an assertive and team-oriented approach.
