How would you contribute?
This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Pennsylvania team, located in Nazareth, PA. As an Inspector Packer you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. This role is responsible for the inspection and packing of manufactured parts.
Essential Duties:
Gather packaging materials for specific products being produced, which includes, but is not limited to, shipping containers, liners, tape, stickers and dividers.
Assemble and tape boxes and trays.
Line and prepare boxes for packaging.
Remove manufactured product from re-stackable table and pack finished product per the company's assigned packaging and handling requirements.
Visually inspect product and package according to requirements, including but not limited to evaluating color, size and configuration and data and lamination requirements.
Reject product that does not meet quality requirements; follow appropriate escalation requirements.
Place approved product in boxes, seal boxes and palletize sealed boxes.
Place the appropriate case labeling on the verified product.
Communicate with Supervisor and/or appropriate escalation points regarding equipment status and production needs.
Maintain accurate data in assigned station computer logs (i.e. scrap barrel assignments, inspections, case data and product status.)
Meet safety, housekeeping, performance, and attendance standards.
Report food safety issues to management.
Other duties as assigned.

Approved residencies are: (1) Those approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME); OR (2) Those approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); OR (3) Other residencies (non-US residency training programs followed by a minimum of five years of verified practice in the United States), which the local Medical Staff Executive Committee deems to have provided the applicant with appropriate professional training and believes has exposed the physician to an appropriate range of patient care experiences. NOTE: Residents currently enrolled in ACGME/AOA accredited residency training programs and who would otherwise meet the basic requirements for appointment are eligible to be appointed as "Physician Resident Providers" (PRPs). PRPs must be fully licensed physicians (i.e., not a training license) and may only be appointed on an intermittent or fee-basis. PRPs are not considered independent practitioners and will not be privileged; rather, they are to have a "scope of practice" that allows them to perform certain restricted duties under supervision. Additionally, surgery residents in gap years may also be appointed as PRPs.

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Telecommunicator position serves as the emergency call-taker/dispatcher for emergency and non-emergency requests on E-911 trunked lines, administrative lines, and radio infrastructure at the Northampton County Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Work includes dispatching of calls to the appropriate discipline, i.e. police, fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS), municipal, in compliance with Center Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), as well as the operation of the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network/National Crime Information Center (CLEAN/NCIC) system as needed.
The 911 Center is a 24/7/365 operation. An applicant eligible for this position MUST be available to work all shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.

This position reports directly to the Dispatch Shift Supervisor.

This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees or functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Receives emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, as well as public service providers, for public safety services. Accepts calls routed to the 911 Center via both current and future media methods such as, but not limited to, Text-to-911, Video, Text Telephone or Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TTY).
Effectively manages each call per established guidelines, policies, and training. Requests information from callers to gather critical information, such as personal information, location, and the nature of the call. Records information, assesses the need for emergency services, determines appropriate response(s) required, and evaluates the relative priority of each response. Dispatches the appropriate response unit(s).
Provides and relays necessary information regarding emergency situations to those individuals requiring notification, including public safety officials and representatives.
Provides Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) (pre-arrival instructions) to persons in need of immediate life-saving intervention, when appropriate.
Utilizes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), phone system, and Geolocation (GEO) tools to determine location and appropriate municipal protocols for response.
Utilizes TTY transmission equipment for communication with the hearing impaired.
Maintains daily records of calls and dispatch activity.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
Adapts to unique circumstances that are presented by callers and then applies learned skills and established guidelines in resolving situations.
Possesses the ability to cope with highly stressful situations regularly, with minimal supervision.
Works a rotating shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required to serve as a peer trainer at the discretion of management after the successful completion of the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Certified Training Officer (CTO) course.
Operation of NCIC and the CLEAN system for police. Obtaining and maintaining CLEAN/NCIC access is required for this position.

•Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution
•Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements so as to make compliance recommendations
•Travel to domestic and international contract manufacturers as needed for product launches
•Attend trade shows as needed
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•At least 1 year of proven experience in a clinical/technical product support or manufacturing environment successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks OR, in lieu of experience, an Associate degree or higher in a field related to Engineering, Business or Healthcare
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
•At least 2 years of project management experience successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks from initiation through delivery inclusive of meeting the project requirements in terms of scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources in a fast-paced Research & Development or manufacturing environment preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
•High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION
•Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Business or Healthcare related field preferred
•Project Management Professional certification preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
