The Membership Database Administrator supports the ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM database and related tools to optimize member experiences. Essential functions of this role include: Supports the administration and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM database by maintaining data integrity, optimizing system performance, and assisting with configuration updates. Configures and maintains workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related platforms to support evolving business objectives. Assists with the integration of legacy applications with modern tools and platforms, helping streamline business processes and improve the member experience. Utilizes Microsoft 365 Customer Engagement and Customer Insights to enhance member interactions. Assists with developing personalized communication strategies and targeted outreach efforts, as well as analyzing engagement metrics to provide actionable insights. Leverages Power BI and SQL for data analysis and advanced reporting. Creates dashboards and visuals for real-time insights into membership activities, trends, and operational performance. Researches and compiles information using internal databases, SQL, Power BI, and external resources to generate reports and support decision making. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure maximum database efficiency and uptime. Cloud & Infrastructure Integration Design and implement database solutions in IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments. Support migration and modernization initiatives, including lift-and-shift and re-platforming of databases to cloud-native services. Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to ensure secure, cost-effective, and scalable database deployments. Security, Compliance & Best Practices Implement database security policies, including access controls, encryption, auditing, and compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and remediation activities. Establish and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures. Monitoring, Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain proactive monitoring and alerting solutions. Automate routine database tasks using scripting. Continuously improve operational processes through automation and orchestration. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with DBA Team, application and infrastructure teams to design scalable and resilient database solutions. Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation (typically every 4 weeks) for support, go live project work, and incident response. Ability to work with and communicate with customers. Qualifications Required: 7+ years of hands-on DBA experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c+) both Linux and Windows, and Microsoft SQL Server (2016+). Expertise in private cloud environments (VMware, OLVM) and public cloud (AWS EC2, AWS RDS, OCI). Proven experience with HA/DR solutions, database clustering, replication, and backup/recovery strategies. Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting, and problem solving. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and scripting languages. Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance standards. Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools. Preferred: Certifications such as Oracle OCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent. Strong documentation and communication skills.
