With over 20 years’ experience working in diverse industries such as food, chemical and financial services, Mr. Castro has oversight responsibility for all operational matters at Unidos Financial Services. Prior to merging with UFS, he was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Tempo Financial where he developed operations in 7 countries employing over 200 individuals in a network of over 2,500 sending agents. He was also instrumental on the development of a payment network covering 70 destination countries with more than 70000 locations. Previously he held various positions including General Manager for RIA Financial Services European operations and worked Frito-Lay and DuPont. Mr. Castro holds a BA in Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico City and has an International MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Over 25 years of broad industry experience as a Chief Financial, Operational, and Compliance Officer in regulated industries of: cannabis financial compliance, oil and gas, financial services, SAAS software, consumer products, health services, business process improvement and real estate.Experienced in full functions of finance and accounting departments, including transitions from private to public markets. Most recently transitioned private equity firm to Nasdaq listing. In addition have served as Chief Financial and Compliance Officer for a SEC Registered Investment Advisor hedge fund located on the East Coast. Throughout career, have developed SOX level processes to ensure regulatory compliance, developed key performance reporting to ensure accountability in all functions, lead strategic analysis and modeling to effect change management, and project managed complex due diligence for mergers/acquisitions. Have been instrumental in investor relations and capital raise efforts and taken private entities into the public markets, the most recent being a successful Nasdaq listing. Have been selected by both FRA and InfoVest 21 as an expert panelist for the development of successful business infrastructures. Substantial experience working with creative, entrepreneural CEO's while providing grounding and focus. Graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984 and was certified as a CPA the same year.
