As a Staff Pharmacist you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances. Pharmacy location: Located within Hocking Valley Community Hospital - 601 OH-664 N, Logan, OH 43138
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 4:30pm closed on Sundays and some holidays

Required Qualifications:
* ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
* Active applicable state pharmacist license in good standing

* Skilled with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office

Basic Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

* Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred
* Experience reviewing Medical Drugs (J-codes and Q-codes a plus
* Three (3) to Five (5) years of pharmacy experience.
* Two years of managed care experience in Medical Management preferred.
* ICD-9 and CPT coding experience preferred.
* Experience in EZ-CAP preferred.
* Prefer Prior Authorization experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE

* Requires a registered pharmacist
* Must possess an active unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)

Compensation
* Pay: $44.52-$66.78 per hour. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
* Position may be eligible for a signing bonus for qualified new hires, subject to employment status.
