The Practice Coordinator II/ Treatment Planning Coordinator primary responsibility is treatment planning for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics, the incumbent can act in all capacities of the administrative team including, but not limited to: Frontdesk or Scheduling and coordinating billing and collections in partnership with the DC's Patient Billing Services (PBS). The Practice Coordinator is the direct liaison between patients and the services they receive at the clinics in any level of care.

Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Registration Department Manager, incumbent is responsible for providing oversight and maintaining the daily operations, scheduling/planning, allocation and evaluation of the NOVA/Pre-admit Admitting teams. Acts as a control point for Registration issues. Responsible for coordination and staffing, troubleshooting and escalation of complex issues, monitoring productivity, acting as a coach and positive role model for staff, fostering a work environment that promotes positive morale, and developing and/or coordinating staff training. Responds to patient services issues and ensures timely and customer-focused service to patients. Directs collection of productivity, quality assurance and statistical data. In conjunction with manager, responsible for interviewing, hiring, effectively managing job performance and adherence to UCI policies and procedures. Works collaboratively with peers to ensure department goals are met and policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications
