Job Description
Supports systemwide strategies to attract, engage, and advance emerging clinical talent across the University of Maryland Medical System. Coordinates workforce pipeline initiatives, career advancement programming, and barrier-resolution services that connect both external community members and internal employees to opportunities in healthcare careers. This role partners with academic institutions, workforce agencies, and community organizations to expand access to UMMS career pathways, reduce workforce disparities, and build a diverse and sustainable clinical workforce.

Designs and implements workforce development strategies to connect emerging talent to UMMS clinical career pathways.
Builds and manages partnerships with schools, workforce boards, and community organizations to strengthen pipelines.
Coordinates systemwide programs, trainings, and events that prepare students and employees for healthcare careers.
Career Advancement Support
Provides coaching and guidance for employees and participants seeking career growth.
Connects participants to advancement programs, training opportunities, and educational pathways that align with UMMS workforce priorities.
Helps participants identify and address barriers (e.g., childcare, transportation, tutoring, financial aid) to ensure successful career progression.
Community Engagement
Represents UMMS in workforce and community partnerships, including councils, committees, and local initiatives.
Collaborates with internal Community Engagement teams to strengthen outreach in underrepresented and diverse communities.
Promotes UMMS as an employer of choice through events, presentations, and workforce programming.
Program Tracking & Reporting
Collects and maintains data on workforce participation, advancement, and retention.
Prepares regular reports on program effectiveness and participant outcomes.
Provides recommendations to leadership to continuously improve emerging talent strategies.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience - Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Three (3) years of experience in workforce development, career readiness programming, career counseling, or program coordination.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong knowledge of workforce development and emerging talent strategies.
Experience with case management, coaching, and adult learning.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with diverse groups.
Proven ability to build and sustain community and academic partnerships.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and workforce databases.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel across UMMS.
Additional Information
This role is funded for an initial two-year period through a grant. Renewal is possible if future funding is secured; however, continuation beyond the grant period cannot be guaranteed.

The Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins is recruiting for an Advanced Specialty Training Program (ASTP) with a focus on Gynecologic Pathology. This fellowship offers trainees the opportunity to independently sign out gynecologic surgical pathology cases within a highly supported academic environment. The fellowship is flexible and may be tailored to the fellow's individual career interests, allowing for increased sign-out experience in gynecologic pathology and complementary exposure in other subspecialty areas as desired.
Program Description
This is a one-year fellowship combining advanced clinical experience in Gynecologic Surgical Pathology. Responsibilities include independent sign-out of gynecologic pathology cases (both in-house and consult cases), intraoperative frozen section evaluation, resident and trainee instruction, oversight of the grossing area, and participation in multidisciplinary clinical conferences (including tumor boards).
Fellows function at a junior attending level with faculty available for consultation at all times, ensuring robust diagnostic support. Fellows have access to an extensive array of ancillary studies, including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and molecular diagnostic assays.
The fellowship includes four months of unstructured elective time, which may be used for subspecialty consultation service sign-outs, focused gynecologic pathology research, quality improvement initiatives, professional development, job interviews, and vacation.
Qualifications
Three years of AP training or four years of AP/CP training are required. Applicants must have completed their AP training and be AP board eligible/certified by the start date. A Maryland medical license is required before the start date. Applicants must be a U.S. permanent resident or a U.S. citizen.

Facilitators will work with teachers and staff to implement restorative administrators and members of the school improvement team to develop the school's restorative practices approaches proactively and responsibly to address students' sense of belonging in the classroom community, increase academic mindset, improve the climate and culture of the classroom and school community, and implement restorative approaches to misbehavior. This person will work with the administration and relevant school teams to develop a school action plan, set goals, implement supporting activities, and provide evidence of success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assist building leadership with the creation and implementation of the school's Restorative Practices Action Plan.
Participate in beginning of the year introductory training session and meeting and quarterly after school facilitator meetings and consultation.
With building administration (and with the school restorative practices trainer if a different person) develop a plan to train existing and new staff in restorative practices.
Work with central office staff and school administrator to maintain records of trained staff through the Professional Learning Platform.
Collaborate with administrative team and members of the school's behavioral/ mental health team to engage students in restorative conversations to address identified problems in the classroom or school community or to repair harm following violations to behavioral expectations.
Provide consultation to classroom teachers and school staff on the implementation of restorative approaches in the classroom and school.
At the direction of central office staff or school leadership, conduct brief professional development to build skills in using restorative approaches both proactively and responsively.
Maintain communication with Department of Student Services restorative practices leaders.
Submit evidence of implementation activities to the Department of Student Services

Job Description
This position is full-time, on-site located at the Patricia D. and M Scot Kaufman Cancer Center, within the Cancer LifeNet (CLN) program. The individual in this role provides comprehensive operational and administrative support to the CLN clinical team, integrative therapy providers, and the Director of Oncology Integrated Health. The Specialist acts as the primary administrative coordinator and CLN point of contact, expertly managing the daily flow of the office through greeting visitors on-site, phone triage, scheduling, and ensuring smooth logistical support (supply ordering, room/catering arrangements, and financial processing). Key functional tasks include supporting patient access and services such as: triaging patient walk ins and phone calls to appropriate clinical team, scheduling and administrative functions for integrative therapy clinics (EMR), arranging patient transportation, maintaining program statistics, reports, and assisting with patient outreach.
