Follows and supports interdisciplinary communication, collaboration, effective decision making, recognition, leadership, and staffing.
Assists in the development of clinical practice protocols and standards for the unit/hospital.
Participates in shared governance activities: Nursing Education and Practice Councils. Assists in development of action plans and supports implementation.
Orients Clinical Nurse I to shared governance structure and councils.
Professional Development:
Serves as preceptor, coach, mentor to new nurses and students. Contributes to ancillary personnel skills and development, attends educational offerings and in-services independently.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Licensure as a RegisteredNurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is Required.
Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
One year nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
Current CPR certification required.
Up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.
Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our healthcare team in Towson, United States. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
Assist with medical procedures and operate medical equipment as needed
Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies
Mentor and support junior nursing staff
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current RegisteredNurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as needed

Qualifications
* Licensure as a RegisteredNurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.
* More than 12 months nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
* Current AHA BLS certification required.
* Must meet all unit specific certification requirements: (PALS, ACLS, NRP)
