Job Description Centre Café Worker Classification: Part-Time Reports To: Café Manager About Us: Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ. Position Summary: Caring for the customer in a God honoring way is our number one goal. The Centre Café is open to the public and is the hub of activity at the Centre for people of all ages. Fill and empty the ice bucket. Run Café dishes through the dish machine. Follow all opening and/or closing procedures when necessary. Clean all Café tables, counters, machinery, floors, and any other necessary equipment. Provide excellent, efficient, consistent customer service. Display a Christ-honoring attitude at all times. Maintain a current Food Handler's Card and display attention to fulfilling all Health Department guidelines. Food Services/Food Service Substitute SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER Summary: Be able work in either district of Jenison or Hudsonville Public Schools as our department covers both district's food service operations. Substitutes work on an on-call, as needed basis with no guarantee of hours. Substitutes need to be available to work at least 3 of the 5 days in a week, Monday - Friday. Substitutes are notified between 7:30am - 9:00am if they are needed to work that day. The pay rate for substitutes is $15.50/hour. Substitutes work between 2.5 and 4 hours per day.
