Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent degree in early childhood education, developmental psychology, human development, biostatistics/quantitative methods, family economic development, or related field is expected; with 3-5 years' relevant work experience; Demonstrated and effective experience in conducting and leading large research and evaluation studies; Demonstrated expertise, experience, and knowledge in synthesizing evidence standards for impact evaluations; Demonstrated knowledge and research on issues related to early childhood, particularly issues facing families and children placed at risk, including issues raised by the opportunity or achievement gap; Proven ability to work collaboratively with a variety of team members while taking the lead for new initiatives, including community partners and diverse stakeholder groups; Experience working on issues regarding development and utilization of integrated data systems preferred; Proven track record with peer-review publications and external grant funding; Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage complex projects and move them forward to completion on time; Excellent creative thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.

Organize and Coordinate Registration Activities

Involved in the scanning and recording of registration documents. Operate a personal computer and print equipment related to the student information system.
Transcript Services
Collect and record transcript requests. Ensure accuracy of student transcript records. Issue transcripts to students and authorized third parties. Record transfer of credit, credit by waiver, and pass by exam credit to the student's transcript. Determine a student's eligibility for academic bankruptcy and record the bankruptcy in the student's academic record.
Maintain Student Records and Compliance
Maintain student records and monitor the release of student information in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including FERPA guidelines. Educate and inform students, the College community, and third parties about student records and applicable guidelines.
Coordinate Graduation Activities
Participate in the coordination of Graduation Ceremonies. Process and verify applications for graduation. Schedule Building

Supervision

Monitor Academic Progress

Reporting
Assist with end-of-term reporting, participate in clean-up processes such as recording demographic information, duplicate ID detection, and providing data used for institutional reporting. Provide student lists to internal and external constituencies as needed and when appropriate.
Academic Partnerships
Work with Instructional staff to develop and process documents such as curriculum changes, catalog updates, and master course forms. Assist in the use and maintenance of transfer equivalency services, such as Transferology. Provide oversight and coordination of the transfer credit evaluation process. Serve as a liaison for Career Academies and K-12 Connections. Work with staff to coordinate registration for the SENCAP/Dual Credit and Career Academy program operated by the College. Enrollment Management
Participate as needed in enrollment and recruitment activities such as New Student Orientation, Discovery Days, on-campus tours, and special events. Develops and implements plans and activities that are consistent with the goals and objectives of the Enrollment Management Team.
College Community Involvement
Participate in College committees that promote a positive and productive work environment and further promote the visibility and accessibility of the Registration department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree in business, marketing, education, gerontology, or related fields and three (3) years of increasingly responsible duties in the management of program development, budgeting, financial oversight, and fundraising.
* Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
* Experience overseeing volunteers and supervising team members.
* Experience working with adults learners and in adult education.
* Demonstrated experience in learning technologies, including learning management systems and distance learning platforms.
* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other business and communications software, registration and/or database software.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
* Ph.D. in business, marketing, education, gerontology, or related fields.

Job Summary:
The Center on Children, Families, and the Law (CCFL), in partnership with the Department of Psychology and the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is seeking a national leader with demonstrated expertise in social policy, program development/administration, leadership development, evaluation research, and delivery of training/technical assistance to direct CCFL, a nationally recognized interdisciplinary center within the College of Arts and Sciences. CCFL's mission is Helping the Helpers: We provide an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to improve systems and outcomes for children and families.
CCFL has a record of leading complex, multi-agency service portfolios with external accountability and has a distinguished history of service engagement, program evaluation, and capacity-building training and technical assistance. CCFL's faculty and staff develop, implement, manage, and evaluate systems-level projects, design and deliver training for helping professionals, and conduct policy-relevant research, all broadly focused on child and family services. CCFL's local, regional, and national research and projects have a reputation for excellence and innovation in child and family welfare policy and practice. **********************
In their role as Director of CCFL, the successful candidate will report directly to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). The appointment will carry a faculty role in an academic unit within CAS, anticipated to be Psychology or Political Science. The successful candidate must have the academic experience and accomplishments that qualify for the rank of Full Professor or Associate Professor, with preference for Full Professor. The Director will provide administrative oversight of CCFL and stewardship of its mission and long-term partner commitments, while offering strong leadership to CCFL's faculty and staff that reinforces the mission of Helping the Helpers. The Director will foster a staff-centered, multidisciplinary culture and support CCFL project directors in sustaining and expanding their programs. Responsibilities include maintaining an active program of research, pursuing external funding, and teaching one course per year in an academic unit within the College of Arts and Sciences, anticipated in the Department of Psychology or Political Science.
Required Qualifications:
* A Ph.D. In psychology, political science, or a related field.
* A demonstrated strong record of achievement in both academic and applied research, including a successful publication history.
* Positive teaching experience.
* Proven ability to mentor and support the development of junior colleagues, staff, and students.
* Evidence of success in obtaining and managing external funding.
* Academic experience and accomplishments that qualify for appointment at the faculty rank of Associate Professor or higher (tenure required at the Full Professor level; tenure strongly preferred at the Associate Professor level).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated leadership experience in organizations that actively seek and secure external funding.
* Academic accomplishments which qualify for an appointment at the rank of Full Professor.
