Maintenance & Construction (M&C) is responsible for general maintenance, repair, and renovations of all University of Washington (UW) main campus facilities including building interiors, exteriors, and grounds, as well as logistics, moving, and disposal of surplus equipment and furniture.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Have knowledge of common materials used by the trade.
+ Obtain, prepare and deliver materials to the job site for installation by journey workers.
+ Clean up, service and operate a variety of hand and power tools.
+ Assist in shop office routines, including material storage and record keeping.

Each Teacher-in-Residence is responsible for advancing Herron Preparatory Academy's mission and embodying our core values by ensuring all scholars access quality classical education that leads to systematic academic achievement and strong character development. The person in this role is assigned to mentored by an HPA Classroom Teacher for the duration of the residency, typically 1-2 semesters. During that time, the Teacher-in-Residence learns and replicates the classroom practices that make HPA an exceptional school, slowly taking on more responsibilities under the tutelage of the mentoring Classroom Teacher. The Teacher-in-Residence will also support targeted small-group instruction and assessment efforts, working either directly with their mentoring teacher or the Academic Team, which oversees Tier 2 academic interventions.
By the end of the residency, it is expected that the Teacher-in-Residence is prepared to take on the role of a Classroom Teacher. Right of Way. Learning the company's damage prevention program including One Calls, Right of Way investigations and maintenance, 3rd Party Crossings, Property Owner awareness activities, as required. Performing duties under the supervision of a Pipeliner A.
Introduction to Regulatory Compliance. Learning environmental regulations, safety directives and operating procedures so that the Company can assure compliance.
