MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalency. Experience: One year prior experience as an EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care or equivalent skill in long-term care setting, completion of a medical assistant program, or successful completion of two clinical semesters of an accredited nursing school. Other Credentials: AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in English, verbal and written communication. Special Training: Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred. Responsible for record keeping of patient files, faxing reports as needed, along with other clerical duties as needed.
