Jack has also founded, led, built and successfully exited multiple privately owned software companies, including Magnitude Software, Inc. and VideoSite, Inc. Jack began his career as a mergers & acquisitions lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Jack is actively involved in Austin’s civic and nonprofit communities. He has served as chairman of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce; chairman of the Greater Austin Technology Partnership; chairman of the Texas Emerging Technology Fund for CenTex; chairman of PeopleFund, a community development loan fund for low-income entrepreneurs; a member of the board of KIPP Austin Public Schools, and a member of the board of People’s Community Clinic, which provides high quality healthcare to more than 10,000 low income central Texans.
