Pay $75,000 - $80,000 annually The Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) of Upstate Caring Partners will lead the quality of autism services, agency education and collaborative partnership initiatives for the purpose of strengthening the infrastructure of supports available to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities and their families. In conjunction with Upstate Caring partners' clinical, educational, and administrative leadership teams, the Senior BCBA will provide direct services and support to existing programs consistent with best practices in the autism field using evidence-based practices. This position will oversee the professional development of staff and communicate in a manner that energizes the work force, promotes retention, encourages team excellence, facilitates continuous learning and reinforces positive partnerships throughout the organization.
Core Responsibilities
* Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and techniques.
* Conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral treatment.
* Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs.
* Designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
* Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented.
* Teaches program staff on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans.
* Conducts training and consultation.
* Provide supervision for staff seeking board certification/licensure in behavior analysis or registered behavior technician certification.
* Volunteer and demonstrate good community citizenship by participating in community activities.

Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field required, Doctorate in a related field preferred.
* Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required, License in Behavior Analysis preferred.

* Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in the field of autism, IDD, education, healthcare or mental health services.
* Must have or be willing to obtain a valid New York State Driver's License

Position Summary: The Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Interventionist provides intensive, short-term, in-home crisis services to children and adolescents ages 5-20 and 11 months who are experiencing acute psychiatric crises that place them at risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor, the Interventionist works collaboratively with families to stabilize the crisis, assess needs, and build coping strategies to prevent future hospitalizations.
The Interventionist provides direct support services, assists with treatment planning, and implements behavioral strategies and interventions to promote emotional regulation, problem-solving, and safety within the family environment. The Interventionist also coordinates care with schools, community providers, and other support systems to ensure continuity of care. Services are typically delivered multiple times per week, with flexible scheduling (including evenings and weekends) to meet family needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide supportive clinical services to 2-3 families at a time, conducting regular to daily meetings with each child/youth and family.
Deliver crisis intervention, prevention, and resolution strategies.
Engage in frequent outreach to clients and their families.
Conduct strength-based assessments to understand clients' social determinants of health, mental well-being, resilience to trauma, potential risks, and substance use factors.
Create personalized service plans tailored to individual family needs.
Design and implement effective service delivery strategies.
Collaborate with partner service providers to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain thorough case management records to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors in human services, psychology, social work or other related field
Masters in Social Work, Psychology, Social-Welfare, Human Services or other related fields

Our Home Finders ensure that every child in foster care has a safe, healthy and nurturing foster home. The individual in this position will also be required to maintain each certified foster home, including recertifying each home; ensuring agency and state standards are met within their licensure. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with clients, families, staff, and community contacts with a diversity of backgrounds and life situations. Experience in the principles and practices of the inter-disciplinary team approach is preferred. Time management, strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and organizational skills required. Responsibilities:
Participate in developing an active recruitment plan for recruiting foster parents.
Handle inquiries and applications from potential foster parents.

Position Summary: The Child Care Worker provides stability to the children and families of the Therapeutic After School Program (TASP) by providing a flexible response to the clinical and childcare needs of the program. The Child Care Worker will function as an integral part of the TASP team.
The role involves working with a group of up to 10 children. All of the children are at risk of placement outside the home, and our mission is to support them in a preventive and stabilizing capacity. Additionally, many of our kids have a traumatic background and may not respond to traditional methods of childcare work. Because of this, staff should expect to encounter challenging behaviors and be prepared to respond with patience and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Provide safe and responsible transport for youth, families and other Children's Home affiliates as required by the program. Transportation responsibilities may be as much as three to four hours per day.
Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with the children and their families that are responsive to their needs and are in accordance with the established treatment plan. Promote growth of the parent-child relationship as indicated by that plan, as well as the agency's philosophy of family centered practice.
Ensure the standards of a high performing team member are role modeled on a daily basis. Maintain good relationships through collaboration and advocacy on client's behalf with DSS, community agencies, schools, staff and other service providers.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner, meeting all standards of content and professional presentation. Ensure timely, accurate recording of all components of clients' records, including: progress notes, treatment planning, case specific materials, Connections Case Management System, etc.
Use family-centered practice approaches in service delivery and case planning in treatment, permanency planning and discharge. Develop and implement meaningful and innovative best practices that are consistent with progressive trends, directions and research.
Continuously evaluate the strengths and needs of children and family to provide appropriate planning. Promote and guide the development of enhanced coping, socialization, parenting and independent living skills through the treatment planning process.
Provide for the safety and well-being of at-risk children, through the judicious use of discipline, therapeutic crisis intervention, CARE principles, and supervision. Effectively communicate all behavioral, emotional, and medical needs to the Director or the assigned Case Manager.
Provide for the overall growth and development of each child through instructing, counseling and direction in matters of personal conduct, hygiene, appearance, social skills, school, routines, and work habits. Foster the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each child.
Provide for the recreational needs of at-risk children by developing, implementing and supervising recreational activities both within and away from the program site. Foster the social, vocational and cultural needs and interests of each child in such planning.
