About the role:
Lead the next chapter of Content Design at Gusto for an AI-enabled world within our flagship Pay Group. You'll shape how our words, interactions, and intelligent systems come together to make payroll-and all the work around it-feel effortless, transparent, and human.

Daily responsibilities

Compensation & Location
Our cash compensation range for this role is $172,000/yr to $215,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $202,000/yr to $253,000/yr in San Francisco, Seattle & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required. This includes non-office days for hybrid employees.

It is essential for this role to be motivated by the challenge of the research administration domain, which requires Product staff to absorb large bodies of information about process, policy, compliance, and formal guidance. The role interacts frequently with users from business and administrative units throughout the University.

The role collaborates with others to craft and execute effective, concise UX Research plans to address product risks with actionable insights. Within a particular product scope, the Product Designer then synthesizes findings with information from multiple other sources, translating insights into clear design artifacts and specifications. This position has a direct impact on the University's research mission by reducing the burden of administration required to prepare, submit, and manage research projects. Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

What You Will Do
* Collaborate on projects to hone your skills in programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
* Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet the Clients' needs
* Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
* Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
* Collaborate within our team structure to deliver the best work for our Clients
* Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture
* Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives

Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
* 2-5 years of interior design project experience
* Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas throughout the process. Portfolios should include well organized examples of design work during school as well as relevant finish palates, test fitting, working visualizations, and design documentation completed during internships or previous positions
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Revit highly preferred
* Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
* Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices
