Job Requisition #: 032809 General Laborer/Utility (Open) Job Description: General Laborer / Utility - Baltimore, OH Shift: 12-hour rotating shift (Must be able to work 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, you will switch every 2 weeks) schedule (2-2-3). “Scheduled to work half the year” Pay: $25.20 Earn up to $55,000+ per year! Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, vacation Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a General Laborer/Utility can vary from day to day depending upon operational needs driven by our customer requirements. Primary Functions are to support the Operations teams. Duties include, but not limited to the packaging of our products into finished goods (ticketing, banding, wrapping) per customer specification and transporting to various on-site warehouses. And/or delivering baled corrugated raw material to be consumed and recycled in our Paper Manufacturing Process. 40% of time is spent on a hand-controls Bobcat. The balance is for general cleanup and training on higher paying positions. Bobcat experience is not required but is a plus. Successful candidates will receive Job Specific Training in addition to the safe use and operation of Powered Industrial Trucks to transport various materials. Operating routine production machinery Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Follow Safety Regulations Performs other duties as assigned.     - Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center operates at peak efficiency. - Perform planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response for critical systems. - Serve as an expert technical resource, reporting to a program manager and interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and third-party vendors. - Act as the main point of contact for all facility operations within the assigned data center. - Maintain better than 99.999% uptime for mission-critical server support equipment. - Apply safe working practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and good housekeeping. - Use hand tools and test equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair new or replacement parts for existing units. - Read and review blueprints, wiring diagrams, mechanical riser drawings, and job specifications. - Assist higher-level technicians (CET2) with more advanced procedures as needed. - Conduct daily facility walk-throughs, documenting parameters such as power availability, temperature, humidity, and alarm status for trend analysis. - Utilize Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) to monitor and verify the status of infrastructure. - Log all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Learn and follow site-specific processes, including incident/outage reporting, procedure execution, and use of SharePoint for accessing procedures and training content. - Understand and participate in site emergency operations plans (EOPs) as a first responder in the data center. The role requires skills in both installation and troubleshooting. - Experience with specific mission-critical systems is essential. These include: o Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and batteries o Power Distribution Units (PDUs) o Standby generators and fuel systems o Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) o Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EPMS) - Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness when working in mission-critical environments, ensuring rapid and effective action to maintain uptime and address any issues that arise. - ACTIVE State Licensed Electrician (differs state by state, some states do not have Journeyman but have Licensed or Master.
