Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Field ProjectManager to join our team. The Field ProjectManager is primarily responsible for estimating remediation projects. This position will manage 1-6 projects in all phases of the project. This employee will work from home but will travel as much as is needed to manage customers and the field teams working on current projects. Typical travel pattern is field based for 6 weeks and then home for 1 week. Soil Construction/Soil Remediation project experience required.
Location: Kenvil, NJ Preferred but other East coast locations will be considered on a case by case basis.
Pay: $80,000-$110,000 DOE, annual bonus plan
Travel: Will travel as needed to various project sites, up to 6 weeks in the field at one time.

Bachelor's degree in civil or Geological engineering, Geology preferred, Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred;
5+ years' demonstrated ProjectManagement/Estimating experience in environmental remediation;
Cost estimating experience and ability to develop and present Project Change Orders;

Physical Requirements
This position is physically demanding, and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment that may restrict movement, when required.
Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time, sitting in equipment that may vibrate or jostle, climbing and working at heights, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching, and balance. Requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected).

Overview
Cypress Creek, a renewable energy project developer and owner (the "Company") is seeking a ProjectManager of Pre-Construction reporting to the Director of Pre-Construction.
The ProjectManager Pre-Construction works collaboratively with Development and Execution to support construction due diligence, including constructability reviews, risk analyses, developing project schedules, reviewing budgets & capex estimates, and analyses of EPC RFP's. Also responsible for reviewing and addressing the up-front construction and execution-related issues early in the project life cycle to ensure all stakeholders are aligned so that projects are executed on time and within budget. Oversees managing the RFI and RFP processes for all assigned projects to move them from the development phase to the execution phase. Formally turns over the executed contract to the Director of Project Execution.
Responsibilities
Works closely with Development to help review and address upfront construction and execution-related issues earlier in the project lifecycle, including constructability assessments, site visits, permitting, collaboration with JHA's, and general collaboration and support of the early to mid-stage projects
Leads development of detailed baseline Project schedules which incorporate the appropriate durations necessary for each of the respective teams to perform and complete their work including contingencies
Provides input and review of pipeline project schedules for investment approval projects
Support the completion of preliminary engineering specifications for construction and supply contracts
Contribute to the development of detailed projectmanagement and construction strategy including implementation plans, budgets, and schedules
Manage the EPC RFP process including the scoping, identification, evaluation, selection, and final approval
Lead EPC contract execution including early-stage engineering and design in conjunction with legal, contract management, and execution
Participate in the identification and selection of suppliers
Coordinate with Cost Estimating & Controls to develop and maintain project budgeting and cash spend forecasts
Manage the integration and alignment of all project stakeholders - host weekly project status meetings
Develop effective relationships with contractors and suppliers to support the execution strategy

Education & Experience Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or equivalent years of experience in construction, project planning and execution of large utility-scale, power plant projects
3-5 years in the renewable energy sector or industrial construction or capital projectmanagement
Advanced knowledge of construction management and constructing methods for large projects, contract management, procurement, and supply chain management, environmental and building permitting, and transportation logistics
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining critical path method schedules
Extensive experience with EPC and BOP construction contracting; including RFP process, bid review, and negotiation of contract terms; renewable energy contracting experience is highly preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Project
Basic knowledge of construction labor relations throughout the US
Works well under pressure and on a deadline, enjoys working with a variety of people
Location: This position is fully remote in Houston, Texas, with an expected 30%-50%+ travel time to projects located across Texas, Colorado, Washington and New York.
