    What is a Mill Operator? The Mill Operator sets up, operates and tends milling machines to mix, mill and shape rubber material for molding. The Mill Operator uses job travelers and other documentation for specifications and conformance. This position works closely with plant chemists to ensure proper chemicals, and other components are properly used when preparing to mill rubber. What will I be doing? Reading and interpreting job travelers to assess specifications and to determine mixing and material instructions needed to mill rubber components; Observing the milling machine operation and adjusts controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerances such as mill speed, lubrication and density; Continuously tending the machine and the material, often feeding material back into the rollers and sometimes adding components until the material reaches proper consistency; Verifying dimensions of rubber material using various instruments such as rulers, gauges and calipers; Delivering samples to the on-site lab for testing, as necessary Removing rubber material and places it according to instructions on racks in the mill room for production needs. What hours will I be working? Is this full-time? 10-hour shifts M-Th (Mill operators must be available for overtime and weekend work if necessary) This is a full-time position. Are there benefits?     Job Goal: A Laser Table Operator performs laser cutting for a variety of manufacturing needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory and integrity. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Loads sheet/plate raw material onto table by lifting stock into position via jib crane and sheet lifter Loads sheet/plate raw material onto table by lifting stock into position via jib crane and sheet lifter Make proper set-ups for cutting operations Remove cut parts from skeleton Deburrs and removes sharp edges as necessary Perform prescribed maintenance as required. Perform all dimensional inspections. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Ensure proper cleanliness by following good housekeeping practices. Qualifications and Requirements: 1+ years of experience on Trumpf, Amada or similar CNC laser cutting machines Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass Ability to follow directions and get along well with others. Outstanding punctuality and attendance required. Ability to read and understand a tape measure, standard and metric required. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. In addition, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The Operator will operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure water blasting equipment and industrial vacuuming equipment necessary to perform the safe and proper removal, containment, transportation, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials within heavy industrial settings. Industrial Cleaning Operators perform the general labor activities of an Industrial Cleaning Technician as well as operate water blasting and industrial vacuum equipment associated with hazardous and non-hazardous waste cleanup. The operator will need to perform the day-to-day check-ups and maintenance to keep equipment running smooth and efficiently. The operator must know how to troubleshoot the vacuum equipment and hydro blasting equipment on the job.
