Job Description:
The main duties include, but, not limited to, answering and re-directing, on a yearly average, over 1 million incoming telephone calls to the University Medical Centers, provide Patient Information, Department Information and On Call Schedule information as requested by callers.
Process routine and emergency calls.
Activate and dispatch emergency response personnel for all Hospital and Ambulatory Areas for emergencies and disasters.
Handle calls for Faculty Answering Service clients; handle overflow call support for the ISS Customer Care line.
Handle routine and emergency calls for the Health Systems Support Services Center.
Monitor and report various Emergency Alarm Systems as well as triage and report all Elevator Malfunctions.
Process urgent messages for the Radiology Department for Critical Test Results.
As the first point of contact for incoming calls to the medical center, it is expected that all Customer Service Initiatives are followed and adhered to at all time.
It is also expected that all departmental and hospital policies, which include Operational, Technical and Emergency protocols, are followed.

Job Overview
The Drafter/CAD operator IV prepares complete sets of complex drawings or computer models that include multiple views, detail drawings, and assembly drawings. Drawings or models include complex design features that require considerable drafting skill to visualize and portray. Assignments regularly require the use of mathematical formulas to draw land contours or to compute weights, center of gravity, load capacities, dimensions, quantities of material, etc. The Draft/CAD Operator works from sketches, computer models, and verbal information supplied by an engineer, architect, or designer to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments. This operator selects required information from computer programs, and internet sites, precedents, manufacturers' catalogs, and technical guides. This operator independently resolves most of the problems encountered. Supervisor or design originator may suggest methods of approach or provide advice on unusually difficult problems.
Typical assignments include:
* Prepares complete sets of drawings of test equipment to be manufactured from layouts, models, or sketches. Several cross-sectional and subassembly drawings are required. From information supplied by the design originator and from technical handbooks and manuals, this operator describes dimensions, tolerances, fits, fabrication techniques, and standard parts to use in manufacturing the equipment.
* From electronic schematics, information as to maximum size, and manuals giving dimensions of standard parts, determines the arrangement and prepares drawing of printed circuit boards.
* From precedents, drafting standards, and established practices, prepares final construction drawings for floodgates, navigation locks, dams, bridges, culverts, levees, channel excavations, dikes and berms, prepares boring profiles, typical cross-sections, and land profiles; and delineates related topographical details as required.
* Prepares final drawings for street paving and widening or for water and sewer lines having complex trunk lines; reduces field notes and calculates true grades. This position directly supports our NSWC Crane customer and will be located on base at NSWC Crane and is a temporary position. The operator prepares a variety of technical drawings and computer-aided models for construction projects, mechanical parts, and complex assemblies. Work products may include multiple views, sectional profiles, irregular or reverse curves, hidden lines, and other intricate or detailed features. The role requires the use of standard and advanced drafting and CAD techniques, along with a solid working knowledge of industry terminology, standards, and procedures.
The selected applicant will regularly utilize AutoCAD and Siemens NX to develop, revise, and maintain drawings and 3D models in support of engineering and project requirements.
Position Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Siemens NX in support of NSWC Crane engineering teams.
Generate detailed technical drawings, including section views, profiles, assembly layouts, and intricate components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to DoD and NSWC Crane standards.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to interpret specifications, sketches, and engineering instructions for design and modeling tasks.
Perform drawing reviews, corrections, and quality checks to ensure compliance with government, industry, and program-specific requirements.
Create and manage drawing packages, bills of materials (BOMs), and configuration updates for engineering documentation.
Support design iterations by producing rapid revisions and engineering change updates based on feedback from NSWC Crane personnel.
Assist with the development of technical documentation, including model trees, layer management, and version control.
Maintain secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and follow all on-base security and IT protocols.
Participate in design meetings, technical discussions, and on-site evaluations to support project development.
Coordinate with the customer to ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements, timelines, and mission needs.
Utilize NSWC Crane systems, processes, and workflows for drawing management, data submission, and review cycles.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Prior experience with the Navy or NSWC Crane is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or higher.

Job Description
The employee shall provide daily program support and operation of the NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific Message Center that supports 14 other Command units.
The employee shall:
Provide Naval Messaging support to all supported commands
Maintain Message Center Defense Messaging System (DMDS)/and C2OIX
Have knowledge of naval message writing format
Track, test, and implement all messages and maintain profiler database for additions, deletions, and modifications to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all incoming and outgoing messages
Prepare routine unclassified and classified messages for electronic delivery, and provide appropriate handling for special category (SPECAT), NATO, and Limited Distribution (LIMDIS) information
Able to work hours such as 9:30am to 5:30pm
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as message and administrative support in a DoD environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Familiar with Military protocol
