The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Pathology is seeking to fill Phlebotomy Technician II (Pay Grade 6) or Phlebotomy Technician I (Pay Grade 4) to perform phlebotomy/specimen collection and a variety of laboratory tasks related to phlebotomy, labeling specimens, telephone inquiries, and distribution of phlebotomy supplies. High school graduation or equivalent, and 2. Current certification as a Phlebotomist Technician by ACA (American Certification Agency), AMT (American Medical Technologists), ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), NCA (National Center for Competency Testing), NCCT (National Credentialing Agency) or NHA (National Healthcareer Association), and 3.
