The APP will work collaboratively with physicians, fellow APPs, and the multidisciplinary care team to assess, manage, and coordinate care for acutely ill cardiac patients.
Responsibilities include direct involvement in medical consultation, patient assessments, procedures, and care planning. The APP will specialize in the management of complex cardiac conditions, recommend diagnostic testing, and initiate appropriate treatment strategies in collaboration with the attending team. Ideal candidates will have procedural experience, including central and arterial line placement, and a background in critical care or step-down environments. Point-of-care ultrasound experience is preferred.
This is a full-time role with 12-hour shifts, nights only, no call, and one weekend per month required.

QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: BLS required. Additional requirements as identified by the unit (i.e. ACLS, PALS, etc…)
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of clinical experience, training or education experience required, preferably within healthcare and with adult learners. Knowledge of adult teaching principles required. Prior experience with program planning, curriculum development, and presentation preferred.
