Knowledge of English and Metric thread standards. Knowledge of sliding and press fit standards. Ability to setup and operate Vertical, Horizontal & Lathe machining centers. Basic knowledge of metals heat treating. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced shop mathematic skills, including ability to calculate lengths, angles and distances. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of experience. Mastercam/ESPRIT experience a plus. Previous practical machine shop or equivalent experience doing close tolerance work from blueprints, sketches, CAD drawings and verbal instructions. Aircraft experience preferred but not a requirement.
