Current CPR certification Comfortable working on a computer Professional appearance and demeanor CNA Job Description Work directly under the supervision of the school's Registered Nurse and perform all nursing tasks which may be delegated Must maintain communication with supervising RN regarding student care Provide nursing care to sick or injured students or staff as needed Make phone calls to parents regarding their child's status Administer medications to students following physician orders. Help enter medical records into PowerSchool as directed by the RN Able to take vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations of students as needed Perform any medical procedures ordered by a physician and delegated by the RN. Help perform vision and dental screening on students according to state screening guidelines Able to maintain professional confidentiality Follow USD 321 Employee Guidelines
