The Inbound Logistics Lead oversees the performance, accuracy, and flow of Jaipur Living's domestic and international inbound supply chain. Vendor Management & Procurement

Use demand and inventory data to place replenishment orders and maintain in-stock positions.

Job DescriptionRate of Pay: $17.00 - $19.41 Status: Open Until Filled This position is responsible for the transporting of prisoners from arrest site to the designated jails and from these jails to the City of Marietta Municipal Court and other assigned locations as needed. This position will also provide administrative support to the police department clerical staff as assigned.
Pick-up and transport prisoners to and from designated jails or municipal court as assigned.
Transport prisoners from designated jails to doctor/hospital as assigned. Obtains and files the prisoners' medical records as assigned.
Provides clerical support to police administration as assigned to include complete all prisoner intake paperwork and provide assistance in filing and retrieving police records as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age at time of hire. Prefer related military, or law enforcement/corrections experience.
Ability to pass the Georgia Public Safety Training jailer certification course (80-hour) during the 6-month working test period.
Must have valid Georgia driver's license and a satisfactory 7-year driving history to include no DUIs in the last 5 years.
Ability to strictly follow department procedures, to include proper procedures when transporting prisoners.
Ability to use a PC and MS Office Suite software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and others, to enter and retrieve data, and compose incident reports.
Skill in both written and verbal communications.
Must be in good physical condition and pass a physical examination at time of hire.
Must be able to successfully pass initial less than lethal weapon training and when required to re-certify.
Must be able to work shift hours, weekends and holidays as required.

Position Summary
This role leads the export logistics processes for the US region. You support regional implementation of global initiatives by resourcing and networking with other departments to support successful outcomes. You will ensure effective, efficient, and compliant export shipping execution is followed on all shipments for the region. In addition, you will ensure coordination with other departments like customer service, sales, operations, supply chain, regulatory, and trade compliance.
You will develop, maintain, and communicate critical metrics; financial, carrier and freight forwarder performance, and associated industry trends. You will facilitate sharing of key performance indicators and metrics. You will be responsible for relationships with various international carriers (NVOCC's, steamship lines, freight forwarders, drayage carriers) in both day-to-day operations, volume planning, and contract negotiations. In addition, you will conduct routine performance reviews with key vendors, ensuring auditable tracking of actions and resolutions.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Negotiate vendor (vessel and NVOCC) contracts for US export container shipping commensurate with market conditions (ie.: Drewry index). Manage the export freight processes and activities to assure effective and efficient delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations.
Provide comprehensive and accurate US export freight pricing forecast for customer price quotes.
Set supplier policies, standard operating procedures and measurements to insure credibility and reliability of service to customers. Redefine business practices and standards as necessary.
Develop measures, analyze service levels and identify productivity improvements within US export process and the process interfaces. Propose changes, gain approval and implement improvements.
Ensure that all complaints and feedback are handled quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer. Analyze complaints on regular basis for trends and reoccurrence. Publish findings and recommendations.
Reporting of cost and service and KPI's to commercial team and other stakeholders.
Approve all export freight bills and assure that freight invoices match contracted rates and are paid accurately and timely.
Identify skill gaps; develop education and training plans and development activities to ensure critical skills and expertise are maintained.
Lead cross SBU international trade council to oversee policy, procedure, best practices.
Responsible for investigating, identifying, analyzing, developing and in some cases implementing world class logistics information systems which can be used to reduced corporate supply chain costs while maintaining or improving service in line with departmental goals.
Work collaboratively within diverse and complex regional supply chains to ensure efficient logistics operations to support the continued growth of our commercial business throughout the global market.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
4 yr. bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in international, multi-site, global logistics leadership.
Subject matter expert in all international regulatory and compliance policies, procedures.
NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) certifications i.e..: (CCS/MCS, CES/MES) preferred.
