Job Responsibilities
Supervision, training, and continued improvement of Warehouse staff and teams.
Compile and issue required reports, including inventory, dead stock, goods age, and consumption
Monitor quantity and quality of commodities stored
Carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory
Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area
Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans before commodities' arrival
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure materials are received and inventoried in a timely, orderly, and cost-effective manner
Communicate proactively with the Warehouse Manager and Production manager on materials issues that may impact the Facilities' ability to meet shipping schedules
Establish proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policies
Supervise transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracy
Work with the Quality Engineer to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OSHA)
Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level
Job Requirements
High School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operations. Must have demonstrated leadership skills through experience
Proven experience with SAP is essential
At least 4 years of supervisory experience is essential
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Logistics principles
In-depth understanding of the cycle counting method and process
Proficient in the analysis and design of supply chain solutions with a strong information systems orientation
Solid computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP experience are a must
Regular attendance at Safety Committee meetings for review and discussion of the performance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OSHA); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable, and effective
Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems

Client service & pursuits - Engage directly with owners/contractors to strategize complex operations and proactively resolve contract challenges. Lead CEI pursuits (capture, staffing plans, scope/fee inputs, resumes/org charts) and collaborate with marketing/business development.
Cost & schedule control - Prepare and review cost estimates; track budgets, progress payments, and production; implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and financial targets.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related field) and fifteen (15) years of CEI experience, including five (5) years of relevant transportation/CEI project management; a Master's in Engineering may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Demonstrated experience with SCDOT policies, inspector certifications, procedures, and CEI documentation systems strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reports, client correspondence, and team coaching.
Skilled in technical report writing and communicating with clients
Demonstrated ability to lead construction teams on transportation projects
Licensure
Ideal candidate is a Professional Engineer (PE) registered in South Carolina.

Job Summary: This position will assist the Logistics Operations Group Leader by leading an efficient shift specific shipping, receiving, and production line side department. This role will be responsible for organizing staff resources, plan daily activities and to supervise the safe and efficient flow of incoming materials to production. Additionally, this position will ensure all staff are working in a safe and secure environment; will train and develop staff in procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
Essential Functions:
Lead IFA, NA safety initiatives with all associates within assigned area of responsibility
Supervises the daily activities for all Logistics operations and associates to include development, coaching, counseling, evaluating performance, managing team schedules, timecard approvals
Assist in planning and coordinating all activities in shipping, receiving, picking, and line side delivery to ensure production goals are achieved
Interpret and administer company policies to workforce and enforces safety regulations
Train all associates to documented standard work instructions Conduct routine audits ensuring standard work instructions are followed
Communicate information related to safety, quality, production, and logistics to incoming shift supervisor and/or coordinator
Keeps management informed of progress, developments, and pending problems within the Logistics Department
Interface with internal and external customers, to support the company's goals and objectives
Utilize SAP to track and review order status, fulfillment requirements and inventory levels
Coordinate deliveries with customers and transportation and resolve any issues with customers or suppliers
Perform routine daily physical audits and systematical audits using SAP of all materials and finished goods onsite
Verify all customer orders are loaded, shipped and delivered in accordance with customer specifications
Process shipping notices (ASN) within 30 minutes of product shipment
Review and verify purchase orders against shipments received from vendors
Consistently works on continuous improvement processes to include recommending measures to improve working conditions to increase efficiency and quality of facility, equipment, processes, or worker performance standards
Supports lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, KanBan, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc
Complies with IATF 16949, ISO 14001-2015, and customer requirements
Complies with organizational policies and procedures
Performs all other duties as assigned
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in logistics/supply chain, transportation management or manufacturing environment; minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role in aforementioned areas required.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
Prior experience with a Tier One Automotive International Supply Chain
Education:
Associate's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transportation Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transportation Management or similar field preferred
Specific Skills:
Working knowledge of ISO 14001-2015 & IATF16949
Trained and knowledgeable in site safety policies and procedures
Previous experience utilizing SAP
Demonstrates solid understanding and knowledge of Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation
Demonstrated leadership qualities with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated understanding of organization policies and procedures

Work with the Quality Engineer to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OSHA)
Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level
Job Requirements
High School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operations. Must have demonstrated leadership skills through experience
Proven experience with SAP is essential
At least 4 years of supervisory experience is essential
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Logistics principles
In-depth understanding of the cycle counting method and process
Proficient in the analysis and design of supply chain solutions with a strong information systems orientation
Solid computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP experience are a must
Regular attendance at Safety Committee meetings for review and discussion of the performance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OSHA); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable, and effective
