Operates a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment when needed. Loading/unloading of all route trucks. Verifying return loads and ending inventory for drivers & salesmen at check in. Verify and process all inventory items returning to pick locations. Daily opening of warehouse and also securing all equipment, activate security and lock up facility upon departure. Maintain weekly & end of month pallet and cooperage reports by company in the Route Accounting System. Job DescriptionResponsibilities (will include but are not limited to the following) Operate a gas or electric powered forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials and products Follow work orders to compile accurate product loads for delivery Safely store product in specific locations as instructed Safely stack products from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, etc. Securely load product on delivery vehicles Daily track and report units moved and handled Safety awareness and prevention is the duty of all employees. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles. Follow all traffic laws, ordinances and regulations of Local, State, Federal and Company.
