SCHEDULE
The standard work hours for 3rd shift are Sunday through Thursday, 9:30pm-6:00am. Additional overtime may be necessary, including additional hours or days.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, train, and mentor 3rd shift outbound and forklift operators, ensuring commitment to shipping 98% of orders within SLA and achieving 99.7% order accuracy with zero quality issues.
Oversee overnight picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Direct and monitor forklift and material handling activities, including replenishment and pallet movement.
Ensure all forklift operations are performed safely, by certified operators, and in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Analyze workflows and labor utilization during 3rd shift and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with inventory control to support outbound order requirements.
Prepare bills of lading; verify items against work orders to ensure quantities, destinations, and routing accuracy.
Conduct quality and safety audits on outbound shipments, equipment use, and dock operations.
Ensure all transactions and movements are accurately recorded in the warehouse management system (Korber).
Manage shipping schedules and carrier coordination during 3rd shift, ensuring timely dock departures and handoff to day shift teams.
Enforce safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and equipment inspections to maintain a safe overnight work environment.
Prepare shift reports on productivity, shipping accuracy, safety incidents, and team performance for leadership review.
Collaborate with 1st shift and senior leadership to resolve issues and ensure seamless 24-hour warehouse operations.
Serve as the primary leadership presence for all operations during 3rd shift (team leads, outbound, inventory control, forklift operators and safety).
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, with 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role, preferred.
Hands-on experience overseeing forklift and material handling operations; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; shipping software experience a plus.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, overnight environment.
Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Associate, you play a critical role in getting our product out to our customers. You are responsible for accurately loading products from within our warehouse onto our delivery trucks to be distributed to our customers throughout Michigan. You accurately select full cases and individual bottles of product for distribution. By stacking light-on-heavy and making sure that labels are facing out, you stack products on pallets safely and effectively.
Your attention to safety is especially important as you operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products. You keep the loading dock in order and moving by staging and shrink-wrapping pallets properly in preparation for loading into delivery trucks. You take pride in keeping the warehouse and your work zone clean and organized. As an efficient worker, you maintain an optimal "case-per-hour rate. You get great satisfaction out of keeping things organized and ensuring that orders are ready for delivery on time!
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position operates in a warehouse environment. The employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position is also very active and must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day while lifting, stacking, moving and rotating items without handles that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force. This position is required to operate warehouse equipment and regularly to read, write and communicate in English.
Work Schedule
This is a night shift position working Sunday through Thursday with shifts starting at 7:00 PM. This position must work until the job is finished which requires mandatory overtime and will occasionally work Fridays based on holiday schedules and business needs.

About the Role:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting in all areas of the Warehouse. This includes but is not limited to: Receiving, Order Picking, Breakdowns, Inventory Management, and Cycle Counting.

Repeat: Our 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates work full-time, Monday-Thursday afternoons (That's right...a 3-day weekend!) from 3:00PM until all orders for the next day have been picked and our delivery trucks are fully loaded with beverages. A Day in the Life
Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
Collect pallet jack, scanner and iPod
Pick cases of beverages assigned to you through your iPod
Use a pallet jack to move product and organize the cases on a skid
Once the skid is completely built, wrap the skid to secure the cases for shipping
Print out the skid tag and place the skid in the loading zone
Repeat this process several times for the night
As you learn the picking process, you will have the opportunity to also learn the loading process:
Organize product returns and empty kegs based on truck routes
Determine which trucks should be loaded with which product
Assist in moving delivery trucks into truck bays for loading
Load wrapped skids on the trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
18 years of age or older
Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet goals with accuracy
Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day
