Job Summary:
Receives merchandise from outside vendors and ensures proper check-in, inventory, and/or credit. Monitors product levels and maintains accurate inventory records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives direct store delivery products such as soda, chips, alcohol, etc. Checks invoices for accuracy, resolves discrepancies, and assesses product for damage. Protects Company assets by properly securing and monitoring back doors.
Reduce shrink levels by ensuring credit is received from damaged, returned, and out-of-date products.
Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory, product ordering, and associated paperwork.
Monitors vendor activity by ensuring products are stocked correctly and advising vendors of necessary actions such as cleaning shelves and designated backroom areas.
Advises department managers of issues regarding vendor or product problems.
Monitors inventory levels, and reports supply and demand inconsistencies.
Assists in managing inventory within the Inventory Management System (IMS) software application such as performing free counts, adjustments, possibly order review, etc.
Helps prepare the store for inventory service counts.
Maintains the grocery back room according to 5S standards.
Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
For this opportunity you will report to our Pull-A-Part store location, and you will fulfill the following job responsibilities & qualifications required for the role:

Operate industrial equipment (if directed & trained), which may include loaders, forklifts, crushers, and more.
Prepare vehicles for processing by removing or disposing of trash and / or designated auto parts.
Safely remove vehicle fluids, electrical components, catalytic converters, and other parts as instructed by SOPs.
Always ensure vehicles are properly secured when transporting, setting, or dismantling in the production area and display yard.
Clean tools daily to ensure they are properly organized and accounted for.
Help maintain accurate reporting on inventory levels.
Meet personal and team performance goals.
Commit to working production hours (typically Monday - Friday), but may include occasional overtime, weekends, and some holidays.
Work in an industrial, outdoor environment with exposure to all weather conditions.
Learn new skills; assist your teammates; and complete other automotive salvage & recycling tasks and objectives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Commitment to delivering friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
General automotive mechanic understanding and application.
Basic knowledge of auto parts
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile devices.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and complete tasks safely and accurately with little supervision.
Experience using both hand tools and power tools.
Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, lift 50lbs, and stretch as required by a specific task.
