About the Role:
At Spartronics, we are seeking a motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, storing, issuing, and inventorying materials, and ensure accuracy and organization within the warehouse.
Work Schedule:
4-day/10-hour work week.
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM.
Shift Differential: Employees working the second shift will receive an additional $1.50 per hour in addition to their base hourly rate.
Overtime: The goal is to limit overtime, but it is a reality in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials in accordance with company procedures.
Store materials in designated locations and maintain warehouse organization.
Pick and issue materials accurately to production or shipping areas.
Perform basic inventory transactions using warehouse management systems.
Support periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Communicate any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors promptly.
Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Operation of forklift. Order pulling and entry using SAP computer program. Supply packaging materials and pick up palletized product. Swing shift, normal schedule is 6 am to about 2:30 pm, approximately 2 shifts per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform shipping forklift operator duties and line driver duties on occasion. Job will include setting up, loading, unloading or warehousing of product or supplies with a forklift Will be responsible for load count, production manifest counts or inventories of both product and supplies (handheld computer data entry will be required (SAP). Will be responsible for keeping work areas neat, clean and orderly and will assist in collecting Quality Control samples, assist with clerical duties or any other tasks as assigned by supervision. Repetitious loading and unloading of product or ingredients weighing up to 50-75 pounds will be required. Use of SAP computer programs for inventory and shipping. There may be manual loading/unloading of product in trailers. (weights up to 50 lbs.). Must comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

About the Position
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for acting as a coach/leader of warehouse associates. Unloads/takes delivery of equipment, supplies, and materials, inspecting goods received to verify that they meet specifications and to ensure that equipment, supplies, and materials received match the accompanying invoice/bill of lading; updates inventory database to reflect incoming/outgoing equipment, supplies, and materials; marks items with stock number and places it in appropriate location in warehouse; performs annual physical inventory of warehouse materials, equipment, and supplies.
Performs a variety of miscellaneous warehousing oriented functions, including weighing, labeling, and packaging items for shipping by UPS, Federal Express, or other commercial carrier, reorganizing/rotating stock to ensure accessibility, cleaning/sweeping the warehouse facility, operating a fork lift, assisting City employees in determining what materials and supplies they need, and preparing special orders for items not in stock.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of stores/warehousing principles and practices.
Knowledge of vendors or resources for identifying potential vendors of goods and services typically needed by City employees.
Knowledge of the basic practices and techniques of inventory control.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Department heads, vendors, and sales representatives.
Skill in operating a warehouse facility, including maintaining adequate inventory, operating equipment such as forklifts, and rotating/reorganizing stock.
Skill in using computerized inventory systems.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Operation of forklift. Order pulling and entry using SAP computer program. Supply packaging materials and pick up palletized product. Swing shift, normal schedule is 6 am to about 2:30 pm, approximately 2 shifts per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform shipping forklift operator duties and line driver duties on occasion. Job will include setting up, loading, unloading or warehousing of product or supplies with a forklift Will be responsible for load count, production manifest counts or inventories of both product and supplies (handheld computer data entry will be required (SAP). Will be responsible for keeping work areas neat, clean and orderly and will assist in collecting Quality Control samples, assist with clerical duties or any other tasks as assigned by supervision. Repetitious loading and unloading of product or ingredients weighing up to 50-75 pounds will be required. Use of SAP computer programs for inventory and shipping. There may be manual loading/unloading of product in trailers. (weights up to 50 lbs.). Must comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
Three months Forklift operation in a warehouse with racks setting strongly preferred. Shipping or warehousing experience strongly preferred.

The starting rate for this part-time, hourly position is $22.65.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
