Warehouse team member job in Robesonia, PA
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.
Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.
Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.
Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices.
Support the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.
Label all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages
Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving. Recognize potential inventory hazards including, but not limited to storage of raw or over cooked product..
Operate current warehouse management system. Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product.
Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed.
Verify absence of rodent/pest activity in all inbound shipments and document any record of activity
Perform all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein, as described in the inventory control SOP program.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Maintenance Team Members are responsible for performing general basic maintenance duties. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to watering batteries, swapping batteries to forklifts, keep preventative maintenance records. Routinely must check items such as hydraulic fluid levels, vehicle batteries, and tire condition, general conditions of machines, drive control, steering and brakes. Maintenance team member and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear employee handbook.
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
$19.57 hourly
Monday-Friday (two shifts available), Full-Time, Non-Exempt
* AM Shift: 9am - 5:30pm
* PM Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude.
* Safely operate all warehouse equipment
* Follow all safety procedures in place
* Follow the preventive battery maintenance/watering schedule
* Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures in the batteries
* Take required corrective and preventive action to prevent battery damage
* Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations as required
* Perform truck battery swapping when required
* Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment
* Complete all required safety training
* Track activities in maintenance logs in the WMS
* Follow directions of Supervisors and Managers
* Stay busy
* Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
* Perform other activities as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position
* Some understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance
* Ability to read and speak English
* Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Able to work overtime if required
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.

Inventory Control AssociateThe team member in this position accurately maintains daily, weekly and monthly inventory levels in the WMS while maintaining proper inventory rotation and storage.
Essential Functions
Navigates through an advanced ERP System in order to successfully execute all daily aspects of the “Inbound & Outbound” inventory operations.
Creates purchase orders (pallets, airgas etc.)
Processes all recycle and destruction loads

Responsible for the integrity, accuracy and control of all in house materials.
Compiles records by SKU, quantities, Sub-Inventories, and validate EBS Oracle inventories against physical counts to investigate and adjust errors in computation or count and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Maintains and compute inventory balance by running and preparing reports of inventory balances, shortages and discrepancies.
Organizes warehouse for efficient storage and material distribution per supervisor instructions.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily, monthly cycle counts and annual year-end physical inventories.
Assists in maintaining accurate inventory reports by sub organizations, RMA's, HFI's, and WIP.
Expired inventory disposition identification (SLOB).
Maintains product rotation and storage disciplines (FIFO).
Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership.
Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management.
Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP's and all Niagara policies and procedures.
