The Splenda Brand Management Intern will support the Splenda Brand Marketing Team. Reporting to the Splenda Brand Manager, you will be responsible for working with different departments within the organization (Sales, Commercialization, Marketing, RD&E, Engineering) to develop the strategy and tools needed to drive growth for the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Help drive growth for a business unit within Splenda.
Drive innovative activation and commerce efforts
Align the plans with internal stakeholders including our Executive Leadership Team, Sales partners, and critical cross functional technical leaders like R&D, Insights, Supply Chain & Purchasing
Support sell-in efforts with retailers to drive distribution across channels

What Your Day Looks Like
Strategic Planning & Analysis
Support Functional areas to collate initiative performance measurement and collaborate with Finance in tracking progress of strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs, Projections and internal and external variances to plan).
Contribute to spotting performance challenges early and proposing practical solutions.
Analyze financial performance metrics to assess profitability, investment priorities, and resource allocation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and PMs to ensure initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.
Support the refinement of corporate strategy, including market entry, growth, and diversification initiatives.
Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
Provide regular updates and insights in presentation form on strategic projects for executive leadership.
Prepare clear and compelling presentations for executive teams and board meetings.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
3-5 years of experience in management consulting, operations and/or finance, corporate strategy or related analytical roles. Hands on experience operating within an organization an asset.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
Demonstrated ability to interpret data, build models, and extract insights.
Strong business acumen and understanding of corporate financial statements flows including cash flows.
Understanding of corporate strategy, organizational design, and performance improvement levers.
Project Management: Competence in managing multiple workstreams or supporting large-scale transformation programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex findings clearly.

Support monthly reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis against budgets/forecasts.
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes alongside finance leaders.
2. Project Ownership
Lead at least one high-impact project designed to improve a financial or accounting process, enhance reporting, or solve a team challenge.
Develop recommendations and present findings to finance leadership.
3. Process Improvement & Analysis
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies or gaps in finance processes.
Assist in documenting, streamlining, and standardizing procedures.
Participate in projects aimed at automation, reporting enhancements, or data analysis.
4. Communication & Cross-Functional Support
Partner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to understand business drivers and support decision-making.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize financial performance and trends.
Share insights with managers and cross-functional partners.
