WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:
Duties to include, but not limited to:
* Pick and pack to ensure all orders are pulled and packaged properly to be loaded
* Ensure all orders are loaded properly on the correct trailer and all the paperwork is complete so the orders can ship
* Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings
* Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety for self and others into daily activities
* Sort and move product interdepartmentally while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, hand-helds, racks, etc.

* Perform all material handling functions related to shipping and warehousing, including truck loading, material receiving, storage and supply of filling lines with packaging components
* Ensure secure shipment of finished goods by stretch wrapping of palletized products using stretch wrapping equipment and blocking and bracing loads
* Receive and store raw materials in their proper place. Enter the received raw material in SAP in accordance with set procedure and practice.

Required Experience:
* 1-3 years of related experience.

* Must be able to work above average overtime and flexible hours.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Aptitude with SAP/WMS System as well as ISO-9001 requirements.
* Appropriate forklift and comparable equipment operating skills.

Our Material Handlers are responsible for performing a number of different and important responsibilities including material receiving, material & product movement, product shipping and production support responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Receive, audit, inspect, ID and put away incoming material to proper locations
* Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location area

Performs daily pick-ups at suppliers' location.
Able to receive and unloads full truck loads.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
There is moderate risk of injury. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet entire shift. Safety equipment is required to be worn when on production floor. Work hours may vary between the standard production shift hours on first or second shift, potentially working a split shift to have coverage on both shifts, with an average 40 hours a week. May require some additional hours when production demand is at high levels. Consistent and regular attendance required.

Responsibility: The primary job is to transport raw materials and finished products to and from the warehouse and finishing line to ensure that the flow of products is uninterrupted.
Duties:
1. Transport raw materials from storage areas to the finishing line.
2. Off load milled lumber and transport it to the warehouse for storage.
3. Transport raw flooring to the finish in-feed system.
4. Load trucks with materials to be shipped.
5. Unload and place packaging materials in the appropriate locations in the warehouse.
6. Make sure that all non-conforming material is placed in the hold rows.
7. Remove the waste drums from the manufacturing area, to be held and neatly stored outside the building in the fenced in cage until ready for shipment.
8. Conduct daily inspection of fork truck and fill out Powered Industrial Truck Daily Checklist (Weekly).
